"Heavy Feet, Thin Ice"
A song made people who burn their bridges too often, those people who are incapable of putting themselves in someone else's shoes, those people, who only commit themselves to what benefits them one way or another...this one goes out to them.
Skunk Oil is an Alternative-Heavy Rock band formed in 2017 by three Brazilian musicians, Dennis D’Angelo (Guitars), Lucas Tadini (Keyboards), and former drummer, Caio Moskalkoff, while the three were attending the Berklee College of Music, in Boston MA.
The band channels a unique energetic sound that is raw, introspective, and groovy all at once, drawing inspiration from legends such as Black Sabbath and Soundgarden, while adding a modern twist that comes from the likes of Muse and Queens of The Stone Age. Combining blues-rock, grunge, and psychedelic elements of the ‘70s and ’90s, Skunk Oil’s music remains fresh and is sure to make the listeners want more.
Their first EP ,“Skeletons In The Closet” released in 2018, was entirely produced by the band and it features the well-received single “Elephant's Paw”, as well as “Ritual” and “Illusion”.
Now ready to debut Skunk Oil's new lineup and new material,
the sky's the limit for the now LA-based group.

This is a powerful song that talks about a fictitious character, a typical “antihero”, who's so megalomaniac and manipulative that he acts as if he had godlike powers.
This a dynamic and seductive song that explodes into a "punch-in-the-face" like chorus. The lyrics are introspective and portray the character as if he was the devil's advocate, luring the listener to follow him into his mad view of reality.
